Masculine Night??

מה נשתנה הלילה הזה....

Why not "הלילה הזאת"? 

Why is לילה in the masculine form? A "komatz heh" is almost always feminine? 

Or like we say לילה טוב and not לילה טובה?? Why not לילה טובה??
