Sad Day Ruined By Good Weather

JACKSON, WY — According to reports, local man Norman Jensen was dismayed to discover his sad day had been ruined by good weather.

"I went out for a sad walk and came back awestruck by the splendor of creation," said Crest. "It's not what you want in a sad day. It ruined everything. I came home in a better mood than I was when I left. Totally not as planned and disappointing."

Jensen, who lives just outside of Grand Tetons National Park, woke up to a clear day with temperatures a comfortable 75°. As a result, his sad, depressing walk, where he planned to engage in self-pity and depression, quickly turned into a peaceful hike through the woods, giving him fantastic views of the nearby mountains and cool, still waters.

"Ugh, I hate this," Jensen reportedly said at the time. "This is really killing the vibe I'm going for here. I just keep feeling better and better. So frustrating."

By the time Jensen had returned home from his walk, he couldn't even remember why he was sad. "He struggled with that a little," his wife later recalled. "He kept asking me why he had been upset, but I certainly wasn't going to tell him."

At publishing time, Norman Jensen vowed to spend more time doomscrolling on his phone the next time he was in a bad mood to avoid the risk of being cheered up by the grand majestic outdoors. He has found that a surefire way of remaining in the dumps was to read angry tweets on x and other social media and of course watching the news.
