There is a heter in the Gemara for a woman to have Yichud if בעלה בעיר. Why does her husband being in town permit her to seclude herself with another man??
There are two ways of understanding this. One is that she fears that he might walk in every second, so that will prevent any inappropriate behavior. Another is that the very fact that he is around, instills fear in her heart, which will, in and of itself, prevent any misbehavior.
What are the Nafka Minahs between these two understandings??
