Well Said

What happens when "Rav Google" becomes a major posek.

I would like to add a comment. The article is a call to think critically, not to be superficial and to be normal. There are plenty of Talmidei Chachomim on the "right" who do all those things. One need not be a "Centrist", send one's kids to DRS, TABC and Bruriah, Morasha in the summers, in order to be normal and thoughtful. There are such people in both the "Centrist" and more Charedi camps.

When I was a kid and started taking Yiddishkeit more seriously, the idea of "Centrism" really appealed to me. One could be a passionate serious Jew but also be normal. [Rabbi Lamm - "We are not moderately passionate but passionately moderate". Sounds awesome. like the Rambam himself signed on to that].  The last 30 plus years have taught me that being a "Centrist" is no guarantee of religious passion [those who daven in Centrist or MO (same thing) shuls or attend[ed] their schools, can attest to that]. There are also abnormal people and/or non-thinking people who are Centrist. In the Charedi world there is also much to be desired, the chesronos are many [in my opinion] and they have no monopoly on true Jewish practice. All we can do as individuals is to strive to achieve "וטהר לבנו לעבדך באמת".
