The Mussar movement was a great idea but sadly it died long ago. Rare is the person whose life is dedicated to constant growth through self awareness and mussar techniques.
One big principle of mussar is to never ever cause another person any distress.
If you have a couple and both of them believe in this and are self aware and working on themselves - they will have amazing Shalom Bayis.
These so called "Charedi" demonstrators cause thousands and thousands of people who are traveling tremendous distress. The pasuk describes Torah as דרכיה דרכי נועם וכל נתיבותיה שלום. Are these demonstrations דרכי נועם and שלום - way of pleasantness and peace??
It took my teenage daughter about FIVE HOURS to get home from school today b/c of the demonstrations. She came home in tears. It was seemingly endless waits in the cold for buses that wouldn't come. She together with countless others.
Moshe Rabbeinu told Hashem that he is not prepared to redeem the entire Jewish people from their miserable fate of slavery if it will hurt his brother Aharon's feelings!!
Above all it is a חילול השם.
Anti-Mussar, Anti-Middos, Anti-Torah and Anti-Hashem.

תנועת המוסר הייתה רעיון נהדר, אך לצערי היא מתה מזמן. נדיר האדם שחייו מוקדשים לצמיחה מתמדת באמצעות מודעות עצמית וטכניקות מוסר.
עיקרון גדול אחד של מוסר הוא לעולם לא לגרום לאדם אחר מצוקה כלשהי.
אם יש זוג ושניהם מאמינים בכך ומודעים לעצמם ועובדים על עצמם - יהיה להם שלום בית מדהים.
המפגינים ה"חרדים" כביכול האלה גורמים לאלפי אלפי אנשים הנוסעים למצוקה עצומה. הפסוק מתאר את התורה כדרכיה דרכי נועם וכל נתיבותיה שלום. האם ההפגנות האלה דרכי נועם ושלום??
לקח לבת העשרה שלי כחמש שעות להגיע הביתה מבית הספר היום בגלל ההפגנות. היא חזרה הביתה בדמעות. זה היה לכאורה המתנה אינסופית בקור לאוטובוסים שלא הגיעו. היא יחד עם אינספור אחרים.
משה רבנו אמר לה' שהוא לא מוכן לגאול את כל עם ישראל מגורלם האומלל של עבדות אם זה יפגע ברגשותיו של אחיו אהרון!!
מעל הכל זה חילול השם.
אנטי-מוסר, אנטי-מידות, אנטי-תורה ואנטי-השם.
