Comment: Rav Soloveitchik says that Rav Kook wasn't a Philosopher. The dictionary defines a Philosopher as "a person who seeks wisdom or enlightenment". Or - a person whose philosophical perspective makes meeting trouble with equanimity easier. Or - an expounder of a theory in a particular area of experience.
Rav Kook was all of these.
