Meaningless
I heard an atheist-author talking on line. She said that she has a need to feel gratitude [why?]. But she doesn't believe in G-d so she can't direct her gratitude [for many things] to anyone in particular. So she said that she has "free-flowing gratitude" i.e. gratitude to nobody. But it makes her feel good so she has gratitude to nobody.
Nebuch.
She also said that life is absolutely meaningless. She invests a lot of energy writing meaningless books for meaningless people. And giving meaningless talks for meaningless minds.
Double nebuch.
If I were her I would just commit suicide. She is meaningless, her life is meaningless, everything she does is meaningless. That is what she believes. We are all just a huuuuge cosmic mistake. A human being has as much importance as a piece of cardboard.
I am VERY THANKFUL that we have Someone to whom to direct our gratitude and that our life has meaning.
