Yisroel She-chatah

People like to say ישראל אע"פ שחטא ישראל הוא so we should love חילונים.

Someone pointed out that a ישראל שלא חטא is ALSO a ישראל so we should love frum Jews too, even if they don't think or live as we believe they should. What you and I have in common with people with whom we disagree is that we believe what we believe b/c of the way we were raised, the home we grew up in, the schools we went to, the types of friends we had etc. etc. just like them.

If we were raised in Crown Heights or Kiryas Yoel we wouldn't think exactly as we think today. So we are ALL products of our environment and the only One with a monopoly on absolute אמת is He whose seal is אמת.

Manifest Destiny

The common denominator I have seen from every "kabbalist" on line who claims to teach people how to "manifest" is that they are not mekubalim but a mixture of self-help inspirational gurus with a vort or three from somewhere in the Torah [or from Rebbe Nachman] thrown in [which they like to preface with "kabbala teaches"]. Much more Tony Robbins than the Arizal [להבדיל בין קודש לחול וטהור לטמא]

And that they want your money.

Middos Improvement

People think that having bad middos is a menace to society. That is true but only a partial truth. When one has bad middos the person who suffers the most is the person himself. It is like smelling bad - the people around such a person suffer but the person has to smell themselves every second so he suffers the most.

The absolute פלא is that there are seemingly frum Jews who believe in Hashem and Torah who don't actively work on improving their middos daily. They don't frequently make a חשבון הנפש with regards to where they are holding with their middos - כעס, שנאה, אהבה, קנאה, זריזות, שמחה, עצבות, אכזריות, נדיבות, כילות, נושא בעול עם חברו and the list goes on and on.

Literally a פלא b/c the גר"א says that we came to the world in order to perfect our middos [among other reasons].

So sweet friends - the best day to work on your middos is TODAY! אין ועתה אלא לשון תשובה.
