קומי רוני בלילה

Chazal in numerous places extol the virtues of studying Torah at night. "Kumi roni balaila" [Eicha] - Get up, sing at night - a reference to the song of Torah. The reason Torah at night is so powerful is because at night nobody else sees us, the world is sleeping and we learn just in order to connect to Hashem and to fulfill his will. The knowledge that this Torah is so pure brings one to a lofty state of joy and his Torah is truly one of song.
