1] The Rambam [Chametz Umatza 7-4] says that כל המרבה לספר ביציאת מצרים הר"ז משובח refers not to the actual מצרים story but to Mikra Bikkurim [ארמי אובד אבי]. He says that you be be מאריך and expound the Parsha. Why the לימוד התורה of מקרא ביכורים and not the actual סיפור מעשה of עבדים היינו?? In fact, according to our nusach of the Hagada, וכל המרבה refers to עבדים היינו and not מקרא ביכורים.
2] Moshe tells the Jews after the מרגלים that Hashem doesn't want them to go into Eretz Yisrael. He adds והיא לא תצלח. You won't be successful. Why does he have to add this?? Isn't it enough to tell them that it is against the will of Hashem??
