CUPERTINO, CA — The world's most popular and trendsetting tech manufacturer set the consumer world on fire once again this week, as Apple introduced a new iPhone for your other hand.
In what was sure to quickly become the most viral trend of 2026, Apple fans exploded in excitement over the company's new product that alleviates the problem of only having one iPhone for one hand by providing an all-new iPhone for the other hand.
"Same great product, but for your other hand," said Apple CEO Tim Cook at an unveiling event. "You can now have all of the iPhone functionality at all 10 of your fingertips, not just five. We revolutionized the world in 2007 with the introduction of the iPhone, but we realized we didn't go far enough. People still have one empty hand. In 2026, nearly two decades later, we've solved that problem. We're proud to unveil our latest breakthrough — an iPhone for your other hand."
Audible gasps emanated from the crowd at the event, followed by uproarious applause, before Cook went on to explain some of the new product's features. "The best part? Both of your iPhones will be completely ambidextrous," he said. "That's right, the right-hand iPhone can be used by your left, and the left-hand iPhone can be used by your right. Versatile. Interchangeable. You'll never have to worry about having one hand that doesn't have an iPhone in it."
Within an hour, preorders for the new "other hand" iPhone had started to roll in.
At publishing time, Apple leadership had declared it the company's biggest new product since they successfully convinced millions of people that they needed to buy a tiny iPhone to strap to their wrists as a watch.
