Every day of sefira is a different middah. Today is HUGE!
נצח שבנצח - The eternity of eternity. What's this all about? WOW! SO MUCH TO SAY!! But we will limit ourselves to a few words. [You will forgive me. I am presently OBSSESSED with the kinyan dalet amos in Bava Metzia daf yud and it is really hard to pull myself away but for נצח שבנצח it's worth the few minutes.]
It means we have to think about the foundations of our faith [Zohar: אמונה דא נצח - emunah is netzach], and see how they give counsel [also rooted in kabbalah in the middah of netzach] about how to vanquish [לנצח] our yetzer.
It also means that when arguing [להתנצח] with your friend about important matters, you should make sure that your friend chooses eternal life [חיי נצח] in light of his realization that he was off the mark.
Every day of the Omer also corresponds to one of the 48 acquisitions of Torah [Maharal and Chiddushei HaRim] and on the 49th day they are to be reviewed.
Today's Kinyan Torah is Sameach Bi-chelko. This may mean that when learning one should be satisfied with what he learned and not feel that he didn't accomplish anything. If a person feels like a failure he will quit but if he feels like a success he will continue.
So be happy with all you have learned. Like this post which I hope enlightened you about נצח שבנצח.

Love and blessings:-)
