I just heard someone say "prima facie" and pronounce it "prima fay-shia" [and he has a phd for crying out loud!!]. For the record, the correct pronunciation is "prima fay-she". It means "based on a first impression". For Aramiac - see title of post.
I might never have gone to college [I was 'kidnapped' by rabbis who convinced me how important it is to learn Torah so I decided to ditch college - AND THEY WERE RIGHT!!!:-)] but I have a fetish for getting the language right [even though I am well aware that I probably get words rong from time to time...馃槉].
