One more word about Tom Seaver before we let him rest in peace.
Baseball is a child's game that adults take far too seriously. That is PASHUT.
But when Seaver made his acceptance speech when he was inducted to the Hall of Fame, he mentioned Hashem again and again [and also affirmed his belief in Olam Haba]. Chazal say about Yosef "שם שמים שגור בפיו" - he was accustomed to mentioning Hashem, even in the idolatrous land of Egypt. Seaver [ להבדיל] ALSO had שם שמים שגור בפיו in the G-dless world of baseball.
And THAT is what counts.
May we ALSO have the name of Hashem constantly on our lips and in our hearts!!!!
