How Did Rav Chaim Wear His Tzitzis?

One of the young Rabbeim in Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchonon started wearing his tzitzis strings wrapped around his belt. Some complained to HaRav Soloveitchik that this Rebbe was a religious fanatic ["chon-yok"] for doing so [this was at a time when wearing your tzitzis out was not commonplace].

Rav Soloveitchik replied "What do you want from him. That is the way my grandfather [Rav Chaim] wore his tzitzis.
