Rav Chaim Soloveitchik said about the Meichiter Ilui Rav Shlomo Poliachek [died 1928] "Such an unbelievable genius I have never seen in my life." [Rav Chaim said this about him when the Meichiter was all of 20 years old].
After he passed away YU [where he was Rosh Yeshiva] put out a special booklet in his memory. They asked various gedolim to send in words about him. Rav Elchonon Wasserman sent in a kashya that the Meichiter asked. Here it is!:-)
