Nechama For Nafti - Leave It For The Pillows

Poor Naftali Bennet. He left his established [religious] party to start a new secular right wing party, hoping that this would be his last step before being Prime Minister. It turns out that he didn't even pass the אחוז החסימה - the percentage needed to get even one seat in the Knesset.

BIG TIME LOSS.

He can comfort himself with the fact that he can sit on as many seats as he wants in his beautiful Raanana home. He also has really cute dimples. I know of no other politicians with dimples that rival his. So he can spend a lot of his free time [now he will have as much as he wants] looking in the mirror and smiling - admiring his cuteness.

I also was not elected and feel no sorrow. It is all a matter of expectations. He expected to win big time so he is disappointed. My only expectation from the elections was that the bank was supposed to be  closed on election day and I wasn't disappointed. It was.

Recalibrate your expectations in life so that you suffer less disappointment.  In Hebrew the word for expectations is ציפיות. That also means "pillow coverings". Leave the ציפיות for the pillows.
