I would vote for Gantz if he knew "Gantz Shas"- but alas he doesn't.
Speaking of Shas - Rav Ovadiah is quoted as promising that one who votes Shas will go straight to Gan Eden. That was enough for me. I am NOT voting Shas. I am ENJOYING myself here and don't wish that my children become orphans even if it means I am going straight to Gan Eden. Like, I want to hang around here.
I also question if a trip to Gan Eden is so easy....:-) So Rav Ovadiah must have meant [if he really said it] that one gets Gan Eden if he votes Shas and ALSO keeps Torah and Mitzvos.
So I think I will vote for the Mafdal or Poalei Agudat Yisrael. NO!!! Don't tell me that those parties no longer exist!!!
What I LOVE about politics is that there is SO MUCH TALK about the different "parties" and I LOVE a good party.
