Michal Opens Up

From the news:

They’ve been married more than two decades, but Michelle Obama is revealing that at times she’s questioned whether she wanted to stay with former President Obama.

“Because we’re role models, it’s important for us to be honest and say, if you’re in a marriage and there are times you want to leave, that’s normal — because I felt that way,” Obama says in an interview with People published Monday, while recalling the couple’s visits with a marriage counselor.

“I know too many young couples who struggle and think somehow, there’s something wrong with them,” Obama said in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts. “I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama — who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other — we work on our marriage and we get help with our marriage when we need it.”

Some comments:

1] ".... but Michelle Obama is revealing that at times she’s questioned whether she wanted to stay with former President Obama". I think that many American people at times during his tenure as President had the same feelings as Michal. But we didn't really have a choice. [That is not a political statement. Just a humorous one.]

2] From public comments made by Barack, it seems that Michal is a very critical wife. I hope she is working on that middah. NO HUSBAND wants a wife who criticizes him. It doesn't help and only makes things worse. The last time a woman changes a guy is when he is in diapers. והמבין יבין.   So DEAR LADIES!!! PLEASE!!!:-) Cut your man some slack. Just love him and love him some more. That is what he needs from you. For criticism he can learn a mussar sefer or get some from his boss at work. If he IS the boss, chances are that he makes a lot of money so instead of expending energy criticizing him you can instead thank him [and Hashem] for providing for you so generously. Michal might get really annoyed at Barack but she must admit that without him she wouldn't have tens of millions of dollars, a wardrobe most woman can only dream of, fancy mansions all over the place and from about today - a new best selling book. Gratitude is the attitude. If something bothers you - tell him respectfully. He always preaches tolerance, acceptance and women's rights so I am sure that he will "be down" with whatever you say.

3] Speaking about her new book: She SHOCKINGLY reveals that she hates Trump. A revelation.

4] I hope she gives ma'aser from her book sales to Jewish causes - like the Mir Yeshiva. She can only go to church because there are Jews. Yoshke was a Jew. Li-havdil, G-d is the G-d of the Jews. Gratitude.
