I watched a hesped of the son-in-law of Rav Gustman ztz"l - Rav Michel Barniker ztz"l [who wrote, edited and published the קונטרסי שיעורים that, SADLY, almost nobody learns], given by his son, Rav Avraham Barniker, the present Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Netzach Yisrael.
He was talking about his father and said "עוד דוגמה לביטול העצמי שלו" - "Another example of his nullification of his ego..." He suddenly stopped because a big Rosh Yeshiva walked in. He descended - in mid-sentence - and gave the Rosh Yeshiva the platform.
I guess that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....
