לפרש מה היא ישיבה: התפיסה השגורה שישיבה היא מקום שאנשים צעירים מקדשים עצמן לתורה. אבל אין עוד זאת נקודתה אלא שישיבה היא מקום שבה מקבלים התורה וישיבה צריכה להיות כמדבר סיני ושלא מן היישוב. ומי שלוקח הישיבה בתורת ישיבה לתוך עניני זה העולם מבטלה.

One of the churbanos of our generation is not [only] the iphone as much as it is the cellphone. Even the boring kosher one. People are never fully present. Always busy with their phones. I watch people in shul. Before, after and even during [!!] davening busy with their phones. Chavrusos sit opposite each other, each with their sefer and phone on the table. Yeshiva buchrim are busy texting, talking, snapchatting [did I say that right?] etc. etc. instead of being fully immersed in dvar Hashem.
A CHURBAN!!
People are mamesh mamesh addicted and don't even realize it.
