The story goes that Rav Elchonon Wasserman [I think it was him] was Mesader Kiddushin. After the chuppah ended, the chosson kissed the kallah. Rav Elchonon was very bothered by this public expression of affection. He was told that is is OK b/c they are now married.
R' Elchonon responded that the last words of the Torah are "לעיני כל ישראל". Meaning "לעיני כל ישראל" - when private things become public, that is the end of the Torah.
That applies to the contemporary discourse on sexuality. Why do these things have to be displayed and discussed so often in such public forums? Not for us!!! We don't deny sexuality. We only exist thanks to it.... But not everything is for public discussion.
Today, since [among other reasons] sexuality has become so public, people identify themselves based on their sexual identity. Actually, heterosexual people don't. But everyone not in that category seems to identify themselves based on their sexual desires. That is a churban. What are we - ANIMALS?? A human being is so much more that his tyvos.
