One of the things that I don't get is how religious girls go to the army. It is the WORST place for them [together with college campuses]. But the extremist Zionist ideology causes well meaning girls to place themselves in this spiritually destructive environment. "We must serve our Medinah" they say.
Yes, but at what cost. Every year, there are THOUSANDS of reported cases of sexual harassment/assault and doubtless thousands more that go unreported. Google it and see.

Some people feel that this is not their problem but "our people" don't go to the army. That would be true if a large segment of the Jewish people would not be Jewish. But they are and thus this is all of our problem.
There was one Gadol who refused to sign a statement against army service for girls b/c he said that people would imply that for boys it is OK....
