Rav Aryeh Levin, the famous Tzaddik of Yerushalayim once noticed a man who seemed to be avoiding him. He gently asked him why. The man said that he was embarrassed that he wasn't wearing a yarmulke [or yamika, as I believe it should be spelled].
Reb Aryeh replied, "Don't worry, I am very short so I can't see whether or not you are wearing a head-covering. I can only see up to your heart....
He was a short man of giant stature!
