Li-rifuas Noam ben Leah bi-toch שח"י
There is a
concept in the sefarim called "השתפכות הנפש" – the spilling of the
soul. This means that a person's soul is overflowing with passion and it is
revealed in his external actions. Others are quite numb inside and therefore nothing
is shown on the outside. Of course, there are those who are very passionate but
conceal it from others. When experiencing השתפכות הנפש this concealment becomes exposed.
