Here is a shyla I saw.
In the circles I presently circle, saying that someone is a "Mizrochnik" or a "tziyoni" is a גנאי [insult]. It is accepted that to be a Torah Jew is to be against the Medina etc. So let us say that one avreich in Bnei Brak says a vort in the name of [let's say] Rav Drukman [he doesn't know who he is - he just heard an idea in his name]. His friend makes a face and says "Drukman? He is a Mizrochnik".
Is that lashon hara? On one hand, he means it as a גנאי. On the other hand, Rav Drukman would view it as a great compliment. Is that lashon hara??
