Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, in a town hall with MSNBC's Chris Hayes, talked about the challenges with the current rhetoric around border security and immigration.
"Immigration is not a security issue," Gillibrand said. "It is an economic and a humanitarian and a family issue. So there is no such thing as an illegal human."
Kirsten really has a good point. In order to show her good will, I think she should offer an open invitation to all immigrants that the law deems "illegal" to come to her house and stay for as long as they like [space permitting, of course]. That would be TRULY humanitarian!!馃槉馃槉
