The news outlets are filled with quotes and statements of politicians.
When a politician speaks publicly he never necessarily says what he is really thinking. He says what he wants people to hear for various reasons. So it is similar to an actor who is reading from a script he memorized b/c he is being paid to say it. He doesn't really mean it. It is part of the show. What politicains say is PART OF THE SHOW. It could be they are sincere in what they say and it could be not - but it is always part of the show.
Mussar take away: Not to waste our time on the show. There are many faaaaaaaar more important things to do with our VERY limited time on earth.
