Every single ad you see has the same hidden message: "We want your MONEY. You will not just give it to us for nothing. So instead we will try to convince you that you need something you were doing just fine without until now in order to cajole you into giving us your money". And often "We will tell you that it is 'on sale' i.e. we lowered the price that we originally set b/c we wanted more of your money in order to convince you to part with at least less of your money. Less is better than nothing".
Remember - if you don't need the item at full price then you don't need it on sale.
News sites [as we spoke about in the previous post] are less after your money but rather are after something MUCH MORE VALUABLE - your time and attention. So they will have endless graphics and stories designed to get you to click as many times as possible [called in the sfarim "click-bait"] in order to generate revenue for themselves. So they are compromising your time for their profit.
Do you want to partner in these ventures?? I am not sure that they are included in your unique task in this world.
You decide.
