If I have been fortunate enough to host you in my home you have been on Ohr Hachaim Street. This is where the holy Rav Chaim Ben Attar had his shul after making aliyah from Morocco. His commentary "Ohr Hachaim" is in the standard Mikraos Gedolos Chumash.
A story told by Rav Shlomo Geshtener Shlita who heard it from the person himself:
A talmid chochom's son had cancer and the Doctors said that there is no hope. He went to Har Hazeisim and davened at the Ohr Hachaim's grave' promising to learn his commentary as a merit. A short time passed and his son healed with no medication.
Some time later this talmid chochom heard about a young man in Yerushalayim who went blind because of diabetes, rachmana litzlan. He went to the young man and exhorted him to daven at the Ohr Hachaim's grave. The young man refused to listen. He kept nudging him until the young man relented and went. He went and davened and cried that he could see again so that he could learn the Ohr Hachaim. After returning home he opened up a chumash and he could vaguely make out the words! The next day he looked again and it was slightly better! The next day - even better!!!
Today he can see like a regular person.
