Dr. Yaffa Eliach passed away. She wrote the book Hasidic Tales Of The Holocaust and I can't think of another book [besides the classics like Chumash and Gemara] that had a deeper influence on me in my childhood. When I was a child [in the 70's] there was a dearth of literature in English and this book inspired me tremendously. So if you haven't read it yet - it is never too late.
