Directing one's desire away from being connected in thought to the G-dly content that has so much kindness and beauty, cause all uprightness and gentility to rebel, to the point that disgusting filth saturate the soul and the world [that is the second form of destruction].
In other words, kefira is both intellectually dishonest and wreaks havoc on the moral character of the world.
