The gemara says [Zevachim 22b] that one may not wash the innards of the korban with the water from the kiyor of the Beis Hamikdash. My holy Zevachim skype chavrusa asked me [in the name of the Brisker Rov - who has been getting a lot of attention recently on these pages] that this flies in the face of a Rashi in Divrei Hayamim. The pasuk says:
Rashi says:
"מן מימי הכיור ידיחו בם, מן מימי כיור ידיחו קרבי עולה וכו'"
Rashi clearly says that they DID wash the innards from the water of the kiyor.
Ahhhh!
Interestingly enough, the Rambam doesn't pasken [as the gemara seems to] that one may not wash the innards with the water from the kiyor.
Why not? And how will he understand the pasuk in Divrei Hayomim?
