The economy in the US, by all accounts, is doing fantastic and getting better.
With his typical, characteristic humility [:-)], Donald Trump takes all the credit.
Barack Obama countered [in a recent talk at the U. of Illinois] that it ain't Donald - it was HIM, President Obama, who is responsible for the upsurge in the economy, the lowering of unemployment etc. etc. Trump just came around at the right time and is riding on Obama's coattails.
I can't help but disagree with both of them. It is G-D!! The Master of The Universe. The King Of Kings, who gets credit for our flourishing economy.
Who was the shaliach? Ahhhh - there are a lot of factors and it is hard to say that anyone gets all of the credit.
In the zchus of recognizing Hashem's dominion over the world, may the economy only get better so that people can serve Hashem and bring more goodness into the world.
