I heard a popular frum podcast [that is supposed to be inspiring] which a featured a married couple. The man related that it was rough being single. So he stopped keeping Shabbos. The host totally understood. The wife related that she was having a rough time so she "hated" G-d [רח"ל].
Maybe it was just me but I didn't find the entire thing inspiring but sad. If they would have had a great spiritual revival and now were on fire with Hashem it would be great but it wasn't like that.
This is not about the couple. I can't judge b/c I am not them. אל תדין את חברך עד שתגיע למקומו. It is about us and how we are impacted by things we see, hear and read.
