Saddam Hussein threatened the Jewish people in the Holy Land with chemical warfare starting on January 15th [today's date]. The fear was tremendous. Especially for Holocaust survivors who remembered another experience with gas... "Sealed rooms" were diligently prepared [would they really help??]
In the end - 39 "Scuds" some damage to property, countless miracles and a very happy ending.
