A few days ago Klal Yisrael lost Rav Dovid Brodman z"l, the Rav Of Savyon [a yishuv in the Gush Dan section of Israel, not far from Bnei Brak, Petach Tikva etc.]. He was respected by everyone from the Satmar Rebbe [see picture above] all the way to the many not-yet-religious Jews who live in Savyon. I merited davening in his beautiful shul many many times in my youth [and had my aufruf there as well almost 26 years ago]. He really knew how to get along with everybody in a very quiet, dignified way. He did NOT have an easy job.
Very sad.
He left over 200 descendants!!
