Forward Thinking - Objective Journalism

If you read "The Forward" a newspaper that has been coming out since 1897 [for most of the years it came out in Yiddish and is now in English and only available on line], keep in mind that the Editor in Chief wrote for the New York Times for many years. [As an aside - her last name is a composite of her name and her husband's. She and her husband both took part of their birth names and combined them into one unhyphentated name. That is also worthwhile knowing when reading. ודי למבין.]

It is very hard to find any publication today that is not consistently slanted in one direction and this publication is no exception. So if you have NY Times hashkafos then you will be pleased. Otherwise - take things with not only a grain of salt but with the whole salt shaker. If you read the stuff at all. There are bigger mitzvos.... Not a storehouse of Yiras Shomayim [and neither are most of the other Jewish blogs on line].
