Rough Year - Looking Forward

I had a very difficult year. I lost a lot. I would assume that you ALSO had a very difficult year.

When you lose - you grieve. It was a year of much grieving for mankind.

I also had many blessings this year. So did you. If you are reading this it means that you are breathing. That is a HUUUGE [albeit underrated and under appreciated] Bracha. We breathed million of times. Each breath is a Bracha. Every time you go to the bathroom it is a huge Bracha. Every time you move a limb it is a huge Bracha [ask paralyzed people].  If there is no pain when you move your limb - a big time bonus! Billions of Brachos we have had this year [I consider a healthy cell a Bracha so make it TRILLIONS!!].

But a very trying year nonetheless.

This R"H we can spend some time thinking how we are going to use the "new normal" to become better people, better Jews and add light and sunshine to an often dark world.

To quote the election slogan of Baruch Obama: "YES WE CAN!!!".
