Learning Chasidus without kabbala is like eating lokshen kugel without lokshen. Chasidus must have kabala because it is part and parcel of what limmud chasidus is. Some sefarim delve more deeply into kabbala and other less but EVERY chasidishe sefer is filled with kabbala either overtly or covertly.
Kabbala is delving into the spiritual worlds which is what chasidus does. Chasidus tried to bring the kabbala down to the common man and connect it to his avodah and not leave it in the heavenly realms. Today we have been blessed with much literature that explains the kabbala of chasidus to the common folk so we have no excuse.
So get to it - the Zohar Hakadosh says that limmud pnimiyus hatorah will hasten the coming of Moshiach!!
