Vote For Torah

Continuing the thought:

Theoretically!

You have two parties. One says that a woman has every right to terminate her pregnancy [even late into the pregnancy] if she doesn't feel like having a baby. It is HER body and HER choice!

OK - I hear. Liberal value. This is 2021.

The other party says that you have no right to crush a baby to death just b/c you don't feel like having a baby right now. And we are not going to tax people forcing them to pay for your desire to kill your baby.

Now - which approach is CLOSER to the Jewish approach?

One of these opinions is very close to the Torah approach [albeit not necessarily identical]. The other is the diametrical opposite to what the Torah believes. Our bodies belong to Hashem. That is why suicide and otherwise harming oneself is forbidden. So how can one that a Torah Jew shouldn't identify with either party? Look at the issues and see who is closer to Torah and go with them.
