Shalom For Charlotte is a very beautiful initiative. If there is anything Klal Yisroel needs it is Shalom.
But we should remember that
A] Machlokes is against the Torah. A Di-oraisa [ולא יהיה כקורח וכעדתו]. Machlokes takes even innocent children [as we saw by Korach].
B] It is a din מדברי קבלה of בקש שלום ורדפהו. We must seek out peace and pursue it. No less but more than people pursue money.
C] Every night before we go to sleep and say ק"ש על המיטה we should be forgiving EVERYBODY who wronged us as printed in the siddur. [ע"ד הדרוש אולי זוהי הסיבה שמשה אמר לחכות עד מחר - "בקר ויודע וכו'" דהיינו אחרי שיגידו ק"ש על המיטה המחלוקת תתפוגג]. So how does a fight last overnight??
