The Rambam [Teshuva 2-2] says that one's teshuva should be so strong עד שיעיד עליו יודע תעלומות - until the One who knows all of the secrets will testify that the person will not return to this sin.
The gemara in Avoda Zara [3a] says that a father can't testify about his son which precludes Hashem from testifying about Am Yisrael.
How is the Rambam going to deal with that?
