How long will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? [Tehillim 13/2]
Why does Hashem seem to forget us? Why does he seemingly hide His face from us? For one reason!:-) So he can reveal himself afterward. So that we search for Him and find Him. Dovid Hamelech cried "Since the whole point of your forgetting and hiding is to ultimately reveal yourself - when is it going to happen already??!!!
