There are many proofs that have been offered for the existence of Hashem. Some say that no proofs are necessary.
Here is one proof that works for me [although it is not the only reason I believe]: There are seven billion people on the planet and it would appear that every last person's life is messed up.... I mean - who isn't suffering? Who doesn't have problems?? Who goes through 70-80 years and coasts? Whose life is a picnic? Like, NOBODY in history!!! No matter how favorable one's conditions are at birth - stuff is going to go WRONG. Like - really wrong. We all fail. Repeatedly!!! Who has a perfect marriage? Who has children that all turn out the way the parents had hoped? Who has perfect health? EVERYBODY has something wrong.
That is ALLLLLL from the Hand of the Grand Master who make sure that we ALLLLLLLL have ניסיונות b/c life is ALLLLLLLL about dealing with adversity.
It can't be any other way.
