In our generation the label "religious" is often a mislabel.
I read an article by a well known female politician in Israel who identifies herself as religious. The thrust of the article is that women should be allowed to sing in front of men b/c if they don't that wouldn't be feminist.
So Halacha must be discarded in favor of feminist ideology.
So I concluded that she IS religious.
Just her religion is not Judaism.
A head covering or certain type of clothing doesn't make one religious. It is merely a social identifier.

I was reading an article by a clearly woke professor [probably over 90 percent of professors of lefties]: He gave a moshol. You are sitting on an airplane next to a .... woman truck driver....
He presented it as a totally normal scenario. I was trying to figure out the odds of that happening and came to less than one in a billion. 54 years here on the planet and I have yet to see one. But in the woke narrative - why NOT? Why SHOULDN'T women be truckers?
The non-woke answer is that as a gender - they obviously don't want to be. [Ditto construction workers, plumbers and electricians. And fathers].
The woke response is to say that gender is a social construct.
The non-woke answer is that biology doesn't care about your "construct".
Sadly and happily - woke is getting weak.
Happily - for obvious reasons.
Sadly - one less thing to satire.
It is like Biden and Kamala disappearing. Good for America. Bad for satire.
