SHAAALLOOOMMM BELOVED FRIENDSSSS!!!!!!!!

The pasuk says that after Esav realized that Yaakov had been given the Brachos he SCREAMED A BITTER SCREAM. ויצעק צעקה גדולה ומרה. This reminds us of another famous scream. Mordechai of the Purim story. After the decree was promulgated to wipe out the Jews, it says that Mordechai cried out a bitter cry ויזעק זעקה גדולה ומרה.


Chazal noted this and explained that the consequence of the cry of Esav was the cry of Mordechai!!

'כשמוע עשו את דברי אביו' א"ר חנינא: זעקה אחת הזעיק יעקב לעשו דכתיב 'כשמוע עשו את דברי אביו ויזעק זעקה' והיכן נפרע לו? בשושן הבירה שנאמר (אסתר ד) 'ויזעק זעקה גדולה ומרה עד מאד'. 

An AMAZING lesson! Yaakov was justified in taking the Brachos. The Torah never condemns him nor does Yitzchak. Rivka told him to do it based on Nevuah [Unkelos].

But he caused Esav pain and for that there was a HEAVY price. Rav Chaim Shmuelevitz says that Bein Adam La-chaveiro is like FIRE. Even if you have good reason to put your finger in the fire - it will burn!! Even if you are justified, if you hurt your friend - there are consequences!!!


Let us be EVER so careful about the feelings of others!!!
