From the Director of research from the Institute for Family Studies ["Wendy Wang" if that means anything to you. Can you IMAGINE? Us Jews - we all either know every other Jew or at least know at least 50 people who knows every other Jew. But the billion Chinese? They can't play "Chinese Geography" because with over a billion, either they won't know the same people or anybody who knows the same people. Or one lady goes "do you know Wendy Wang?" and the other one is like "which Wendy Wang?" There are like a thousand of them]:
Men, adults who didn’t grow up in intact families, and those who rarely or never attend religious services are more likely than others to have cheated on their spouse.
In other words - if G-d isn't part of a person's life, he is more likely to stray. Pashut.
Let us listen to the wise but stupid Professor Joel Marx - Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of New Haven who writes:
“This philosopher has been laboring under an unexamined assumption, namely that there is such a thing as right and wrong. I now believe there isn’t…The long and short of it is that I became convinced that atheism implies amorality; and since I am an atheist, I must therefore embrace amorality…I experienced my shocking epiphany that religious fundamentalists are correct; without God there is no morality. But they are incorrect, I still believe, about there being a God. Hence, I believe, there is no morality."

Another finding:
In general, men are more likely than women to cheat, but the gender gap in infidelity varies by age.
That is why men need more safeguards than woman.
This one was a shocker: Women in their 60s report the highest rate of infidelity (16%), but the share goes down sharply among women in their 70s and 80s. By comparison, the infidelity rate among men in their 70s is the highest (26%), and it remains high among men ages 80 and older (24%). Thus, the gender gap in cheating peaks among the oldest age group (ages 80+): a difference of 18 percentage points between men and women.
INSANE. A very large number of men are still cheating into their 80's. And women are at their busiest in their 60's!! Like, bubbys and zeides. Nuts.
All I can do is invoke the pasuk in Mishlei [28/14]:
"אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם מְפַחֵד תָּמִיד"
Fortunate is the person who is always afraid.
Now what is the difference between פוחד and מפחד - [scared and scared. Both are used in both Biblical and Modern Hebrew]? The Malbim explains that פוחד is when there is actually something of which to be afraid while מפחד is when things seem smooth and like there is nothing to fear and yet the person is afraid anyway. Thus, the pasuk is saying "fortunate is the person who is afraid of sin [and thus guards his ways] even though he has never sinned before and it seems like he has no reason to sin in the future".
"אבל, אשרי אדם המפחד, שהגם שלבו בריא אולם כי לא חטא, עושה את עצמו מפחד על העתיד שלא יחטא, ועל ידי כך נשמר מחטא ומפלס דרכיו".
And as the mishna [Avos 2-4] says אל תאמין בעצמך עד יום מותך. Don't trust yourself until your dying day.
This doesn't mean that one should be nervous. It DOES mean that he/she should not put him/herself in situations where he/she might fall if they can be avoided. We are all human.
So what is the answer for the me too movement? 1] Make safeguards. 2] Torah study!!
One day I hope they will report that there was a famous politician or television personality or athlete or entertainer etc. who never touched another woman besides his wife for pleasure or even looked at one for pleasure [to the best of his ability]. In the meantime we can assume that they ALL do and then when a scandal breaks we can just point knowingly to the pasuk in Mishlei and the mishna in Avos.
