An Arrow In The Heart

“If someone comes along and shoots an arrow into your heart, it’s fruitless to stand there and yell at the person. It would be much better to turn your attention to the fact that there’s an arrow in your heart...”

When you are offended, don't think about what the other person did to you [ימח שמו:-)] but what it means about YOU!! Why am I offended? What is my self-perception? How is my self-esteem? What did I do to trigger the offensive comment?? How am I going to overcome the hurt? How can I GROW from the experience?? Other questions can also be asked. Because the ONLY person you have COMPLETE CONTROL to change [with Hashem's help] is YOURSELF.

So leave the other guy [girl] out of it!!!:-)
