Weird

I LOVE giving "mussar shmoozes". But in the 22 years I have been a father [B"H!!!!], I have come to notice that my children don't enjoy listening to me give mussar. 

Isn't that WEIRD!!!!!

Lesson - Keep your mussar mostly to yourself. It not only often doesn't HELP your children but might have the opposite effect....

Teach instead by personal example and with subtle, loving, positive exhortations.
